Research Interests
Laura has been involved in a variety of research projects. This has included pedagogical research with a focus on student placement and practice educator experiences. Gait analysis and the impact of prosthetics interventions on gait. She has also undertaken research around the areas of activity monitoring and activity recognition.
Laura has an interest in advanced technologies both in terms of socket design and fabrication and component provision. These developing areas are integrated and reviewed within the curriculum.
